Where it began
The secret space society came to a collective agreement around 5 billion years ago that they needed a new reality, and so they created a planet with a molten core that became Earth. The earth was at peace, so they created man for their entertainment. They sent two space pods that killed the dinosaurs; their galactic space pod control considers this their biggest catastrophe. To make it habitable again, the space society planted different variants of trees to help their creations live. They placed both the man and woman under the trees, and their first test was to water the trees and maintain them to help them survive. The man and woman woke from their slumber with no idea who they were or how they got there. They eventually learned to listen to their bodies' signals. When they felt hungry, they ate from the trees and fished. When they felt tired, they slept in the homes they built from the trees and made fire when it got cold. The man and woman still felt something was missing, even with the home they built, and all the fruit and fish they had available to them. There was one tree that would not grow, they thought maybe this was the tree that would cure what they felt.
